Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor
Two words to describe me: Adventurous and Determined
“Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four hours sharpening my ax” -Abraham Lincoln
I love fitness because it gives me the opportunity to have “me time” and also releases awesome chemicals that turns any bad day into a more motivated good day.
My role at Bay Athletic Club is group fitness instructor for “Body Blast” and I’m always happy to hop in other classes as needed. I love teaching because it keeps me accountable with my health and allows me to tell my story on how I started by hiding behind the column in classes to being of front and leading them. Fitness has helped me lose 30 pounds and manage restless leg syndrome. I feel my best after a workout.
I started as a member and got my personal trainer certification three years ago.
When I’m not at the gym I’m working as a paramedic/firefighter for the City of Alpena, with my family, doing a project around the house or outdoors hunting, fishing or camping.
