Two words to describe me: Driven and Approachable

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.” -Fred Devito

I love fitness because it equips me to reach new, exciting new heights while keeping me grounded.

I went to college to be an NCAA beach volleyball player and quickly found how much a balanced strength and conditioning program can make or break your sports performance. From there, I made the decision to walk on to my college’s NCAA Cross Country team to balance out my training while also picking up a passion for hot yoga on the side. Moving in all of these different ways made me realize fitness isn’t a “one size fits all,” and that having fun and trying new things is key in enjoying the fitness journey.  I loved fitness so much, I got my degree to help support others in health promotion. Earning a B.S. from Colorado State University in Health and Exercise Science is an accomplishment that also allows me to be a strength and conditioning coach at high school level and sports performance coach with professional athletes.

In my free time, I like to balance my time between my active hobbies like trail running, yoga, chasing my dogs around with my relaxing hobbies: reading, writing and painting.

Find me in the studio teaching yoga, Pilates and out at Bay Urban Fitness, leading Train to Run.
