Group Fitness Instructor
Two words to describe me: Cheery and Compassionate
“No one is in charge of your happiness except you.”
I love fitness for so many reasons:
1) how it makes me feel after I exercise
2) because it allows me time to take care of myself
3) because it gives me a chance to work off frustrations & negativity
4) because I have met so many wonderful people on my fitness journey.
I started exercising in my living room in high school and did 30 minutes with Gilad “Bodies in Motion” on TV. It seemed like such a hard workout at the time. I continued and attended the free aerobics classes in college and was in awe of the instructors so I decided to get AFAA certified. More than 25 years later and I still love fitness. I’ve taught a variety of classes indoors, outdoors, etc.
I have my certification through AFAA and have taken various workshops over the course of the years including: cycling, PiYo, turbo, step, TRX, strength, etc.
I consider working out my hobby but when I’m not doing that or showing houses (I’m a realtor) I enjoy baking and gardening.
