Two words to describe me: Spirited and Reliable

“”It’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up” ~Vince Lombardi”

I love fitness because fitness is a way of life; it makes everything better — health, happiness, relationships and it gives me the energy to keep up with my on-the-go family. I want my children to have a fit healthy life be their normal. I think fitness is FUN, and if I don’ have it in my day, I feel an unease…that’s a good thing, and I pull for that commitment with everyone who comes to BAC.

I began an active lifestyle from my first steps…trained in classical ballet from the age of 2, dance was my beginning. During college, I lost this activity and felt the void of movement and, subsequently, my health. I found my segue back into fitness with group exercise; I missed being active surrounded by my peers, and quickly rejoined that grove and grew from there. Ballet Fit was and is undoubtedly my sole-mate workout. Makes sense, right? 🙂

Ever since we moved to Alpena in early 2007, BAC has been my happy place. It evolved from being a happy member toting kids to the Jungle Gym, to teaching a class, to working part time in Membership, to now running the day to day operations of the club as the COO. I love the positive vibes at the club; they come from our members, the team, and the culture thereof. BAC is where it’s at!

I love to teach group exercise. I also love to work one on one, primarily with new members, getting them started right. I additionally enjoy coaching special programs like the Corporate Fit Challenge, Thinner Winner and mind-body events.
